Introduction

Companies House OU sells detailed information about businesses in the Philippines, Indonesia, and Vietnam. To keep that data accurate and current, they hired Boldally Studio to build three e-commerce sites, one per country, plus a web scraper to gather the underlying records.

Challenge

Reliable, current data on private companies in these regions is hard to come by. Companies House needed a way to collect records on shareholders, directors, and commissioners at scale, so clients could trust the information before doing business.

Solution

Boldally Studio built three e-commerce platforms, one for each country, set up to present and sell company data. Alongside them, we built a web scraper in Python that pulls records from a range of sources, so Companies House can keep its listings up to date. The sites run on Laravel with Livewire and Alpine.js, with Stripe handling payments.

Results

The scraper and the three sites together changed how Companies House works. The team can refresh data more often and sell it through a proper storefront, which makes the service a dependable source for businesses operating in the region.
